The Story of Loke Interiors

Loke Interiors was launched by me, Jenine Timms, Creative Director and Interior Designer. I am passionate about design and truly believe everyone should have a home or space that they love, that makes them happy and that they are proud of.

Whilst my journey to become an interior designer was not a direct one (I qualified as a Forensic Psychologist and worked with lifer prisoners and have a 15 year career as a Marketer) I have been creating perfect spaces since I was a young girl. I frequently re-styled my childhood bedroom, as a university student I wallpapered my room and in the more recent past re-designed and renovated my property portfolio.

The name Loke Interiors was born out of the name we gave our home, Loke Cottage. It is through creating and designing my homes over the years and more recently the cottage we live in, that has inspired and given me the courage to design and create perfect spaces for others. So after many years of acting as a home designer for friends, and friends of friends, for fun I decided to follow my heart and study interior design and home staging and become a qualified Interior Designer & Home Stager. I haven’t looked back since!

My background in psychology gives me a unique set of skills to be able to quickly build relationships with my clients and really understand their styling needs and desires which I incorporate into my designs. While my many years of working with clients in professional environments as a marketer means I recognise the importance of understanding the target market (for selling properties), of keeping things to time and on budget all whilst offering an exceptional client service.
