The Story of Loke Interiors

Loke Interiors was launched by me, Jenine Timms — Creative Director, Interior Designer, and lover of all things creative. I’m passionate about thoughtful design and truly believe everyone should have a home or space they love, that brings them joy, and that they’re proud to share.

My journey into interior design wasn’t a straight line (I originally trained as a Forensic Psychologist and spent 15 years working in marketing), but I’ve been reimagining spaces since I was a little girl — restyling my childhood bedroom, wallpapering my bedroom at university, and later, designing and renovating my own homes and property portfolio.

The name Loke Interiors came from the name we gave our own home, Loke Cottage — a place that has inspired so much of what I now help others create: calm, characterful, and meaningful interiors that reflect the people who live or work in them.

After years of helping friends and family redesign their homes for fun, I finally followed my heart and retrained as an Interior Designer and Home Stager. I haven’t looked back since. I now get to offer interior design & brand styling services in the New Forest and beyond.

My background in psychology helps me connect quickly with clients and understand not just their practical needs, but their emotional connection to space. And my experience in marketing means I bring a strategic, brand-aware lens to every project — particularly when it comes to home staging or styling spaces that need to appeal to others.

This has naturally evolved into me helping small businesses tell their story through thoughtful interiors, styling, and brand-focused marketing support. From boutique holiday lets to creative retail spaces, I help business owners align how their space feels with what their brand says. Whether that’s through styling, storytelling, content planning or visual identity, I love helping people create spaces that connect, attract and convert.
