Brief – To spruce up this spacious guest bedroom and add some character whilst incorporating the the bespoke, handmade, window furnishings already in the room.
Design – Character was added to this new build property by panelling the wall behind the bed. The colour scheme was matched to the neutrals in the window dressings so they were now the real stars of the room. Nods to nature were added with the bamboo lampshade and hanging plant and it all ties together beautifully with the framed art work. Such a transformation to a perfectly balanced and harmonious guest room that anyone would be excited to stay in!
I worked with Jenine who helped me to create a lovely modern and fresh spare bedroom. I knew the current design wasn’t working but I didn’t know where to start. I contacted Jenine who very quickly came up with a mood board of options including the idea of panelling, colour schemes, as well as all the small details which really brought the whole room together.
