Staging Process

What is home staging?
Home staging is all about preparing your property for sale by styling it to help potential buyers picture themselves living there. A well-staged home is more likely to sell quickly and for a higher price—research shows that staged homes spend half the time on the market compared to unstaged ones and often attract higher offers.

Why? Because a staged home stands out online and draws people in from the moment it’s advertised. When buyers spend longer viewing a property, it increases the likelihood they’ll make an offer. Staging typically costs between 1-3% of your asking price, but can lead to an 8-10% return on investment.

When’s the best time to stage your home?
Ideally, your home should be staged before your estate agent takes the marketing photos to create that “wow” factor from the first listing. However, if you’ve already listed your home, it’s not too late. Staging can be beneficial at any time—especially if initial interest has been lower than expected.

When working with me, it’s important that your home remains a comfortable space for you, even as we prepare it to shine for potential buyers. Together, we’ll find the right balance between creating a welcoming feel and allowing buyers to imagine it as their future home.

Loke Interiors’ home staging process
All of my home staging packages begin with a free 20-minute discovery call to learn about your home, the market, and your selling goals. During this call, I’ll explain the packages I offer and make recommendations based on your needs.

After our chat, I’ll send over a detailed quote so you can review the options and decide if you’d like us to work together. When you’re ready to move forward, the next step is to select the staging package that suits you best.
